Non League Day - Sat 7th September
This has been announced so if we have a home game on this date when the fixtures are announced it would be a great idea for the club to promote this and alongside the new management team and hopefully revamped squad could well be a good money earner for the club and bring in some new fans?
I am quite optimistic about the new season with Liam in charge and the signing of Patterson and if we get a good start this would aid the club in bringing in new support.
Thoughts?

Next season is a great chance to get new fans in with Blues and Villa having bad season's last season i dare say a lot of them will look else where to get their football fix the club need to jump on that placing ads in the local press and maybe think about lowering the the price to get in

Non League Day is probably the biggest opportunity of the year to get a big gate so the club would be mad to not promote it this year! I really hope they do something.

Re: Non League Day - Sat 7th September
I'm assuming it will be a case of having an England game on the Friday night with nothing but League 1 and below on the Saturday. IF (a big if at that) we have a positive start to the season and aren't up s*it creek without a paddle already the club should just do a free gate to ensure bar/food sales and interest if nothing else. I remember having a discussion with the bloke on the gate about the Kettering home game (youth team day) that I couldn't attend. Out of the 600 plus people who went only 90 paid but apparently "bar takings were through the roof." Who knows, a few hardy souls might come back again if there's an effort to generate an atmosphere.
As for the club not doing anything, I'm still waiting for a reply on my Reddicard idea sent direct to them more than a year ago. Even if they felt it was a pile of c*ap the least I'd expect is an email of acknowledgement for being sad enough to think of ways to help the club in my spare time. But there we go.....

Non League Day is now five weeks away and we're at home against Banbury United. It's on 7th September and coincides with an international weekend, so no Premier League or Championship games are on. Hopefully the club will be doing something to promote itself.

Based on previous experience, I wouldn't hold your breath!

Re: Non League Day - Sat 7th September
Worcester have announced what they are doing for non league day
Season Ticket Holders from ANY Club from ANY sport can get into Worcester City v Bradford Park Avenue for £5 at Aggborough, Kidderminster.
BPA fans - can you make this known at your end.
Now this is a club that are nomads at Kiddy. I imagine Redditch have decided against doing anything for this game. Unfortunately I have to goto a wedding so won't be there anyway

Unfortunately, due to other commitments, I shan't be there either!

How did it go? Saw we had about 230 ish down the valley which isn't a bumper crowd I know but it's an improvement on recent weeks.

We did the same as wcfc and it was well received and had 40+ season ticket holders in with some saying they will be back, shame the result didn't go our way but the football was an improvement.

Swindon, spurs, villa, blues, wolves, west ham and there were others who did not have season tickets from the above teams plus Man U, Everton etc. all in all a wide spectrum of top teams, I didn't come across any from other sports. Had good feed back and at least one blues said he would be coming back.
