Is there any truth in this?

I was told this morning that Nuneaton have put in an offical approach for Liam MacDonald if it was true it is understandable why they would, but at the moment i am putting it down to just gossip. just wondered if there is any truth in this?. Dennis

This comes up every few months. I really believe that Liam McDonald would NOT walk away from any job half way through a season. He has never denied he has ambitions to become a full time manager, and I for one wish him all the best in that ambition. The better Redditch do and the more young players that are getting noticed by "bigger"clubs mean Liam's reputation will rise and rise. One day I feel he will manage a much bigger club than us, but I can't really see a bus stop in Coventry being a stepping stone for him! Just my opinion mind.

Doesn't seem to be any mention of this on their fans forum.

Liam Daish was appointed as manager a few weeks ago so doubt this is true unless they want him as his assistant.
