Potential new managers?
Obviously with the sad news of the current management teamleaving the club, understandably, we need someone to come in who will work on no budget atall.
Does anyone know anyone that would do this job?
I know my college coach (Mark Forgarty) showed some interest earlier on in the year and i'll have to see if he's still interested.
James Taplin also showed intrest.
Thoughts?

Somebody internal, a senior player(probably whoever the ones taking charge on sat are?) who might be able to get one or two of the others to stick around for a bit, untill the end of the season and then restock and seek a long term appointment then.
Would be far the most sensible view IMO.

I have extensive experience of managing Redditch United over many successful, promotion winning seasons on Championship Manager! I therefore nominate myself!

Re: Potential new managers?
Joking a side guy's we need someone who has at least played at a similar level, has contacts/favours he can call in(free players) and can continue the latest drive and improvement in the Team(tough job now I know), I know every single one of us would step up- but seriously
I nominate asking Rod Brown, Im sure he'd step in and we know what he can achieve.

Ken has not eluded to Rod at all, but I would be shocked if it wasn't Rod to be honest... I'm not sure if it would be a good thing but maybe that's my mind working overtime...

Mind working over time I think Fingers, I cant think of a better person right now and he's got nothing else on, he has good connections as well as the ability to find new faces that have potential. I used to like his style of tactics and leader ship, im sure he'd love the challenge.fingers wrote:Redjeff wrote:

My interview is tomorrow morning.
I've compiled a portfolio of screenshots from Football Manager 2011, and I've spent all season behind the dugouts so I'm very fluent in hand gestures.
I'm also undertaking an evening course in advanced watch tapping, and my water bottle kicking skills are excellent.

Fingers, this is the obvious choice IMO as I have heard he puts money into clubs in respect of the budget.
On the other hand Gary Whild may be out of a job if Kiddy are liquadated so option there?
Re: Potential new managers?
No offense but im sure the club can do much better than Tappers
Sorry mate but i cannot stop laughing
Odds on Someone like Chris Taylor or Richard Anstiss??

Why not have a punt on John Reeves, he knows the club like the back of his hand. I know he is assistant manger at stafford Rangers but I'm sure he could be tempted..........

Re: Potential new managers?
just so people know i've been down the club tonight and was told by phil green that him and lee ayrees are taking charge of the team for saturday. he doesnt think any of the players (apart from robbie agger) is stopping but dave chatwin said players were letting the club know after saturdays game. who knows a new manager might be able to talk some of them into staying

Sad to hear that...you would think a bit of loyalty wouldn't go amiss....what ever happened to the good old values in life? Most of these players are not really good enough at this level but have been given a platform by the club to advance....maybe I'm just too old fashioned!

Suprised Greeny is staying. He's one of our best players and Tamworth were sniffing around him not so long ago weren't they?
Fair play.
