Re: New Signing
Add to that list Mark Hands (to be captain), Phil Green and Simon Fitter (was at blues for a while).
Possibly James Blake but he's also had another offer elsewhere and is having a meeting at the valley next week.
Also Andy Ducros maybe returning.
Surround these players with some no-nonsense veterans and I can't see us struggling next season.

Re: New Signing
i dont think i would want phil green to come back to reds from what i saw of him last season,he seemed to disappear when thigs didnt go his way and he seemed to always want to get himself booked.i also think that andy ducros is past his best now and it would be a step back for us if he were to be here

Re: New Signing
Ducros is a good player, he won player of the year for december 2 years ago then went!
But i rememer him scorin in the first minute or so in one game!
I'd like to see Danny Scheppel back too!

Re: New Signing
No players are confirmed yet!, New players will be announced officially from the club first and not on here. On a positive note though Tim Delaney is definitely staying and will not be going to Alfreton. He said " I love the club and the fans and could not just switch the red bug off", he also said that work on the new official web site was well under way and will be up soon and will have a much better look and feel to the present one.

Re: New Signing
I'm worried about the lack of news on last years squad. I'd only keep Will, Cass,Jake and Tommy but it's concerning me we haven't heard who from last year has been kept on.

I thought they were waiting untill training starts and giving anyone who wants one a chance then? That was the impression in the Advertisor or Standard articles anyway.

Re: New Signing
Like Handsy.....performance v Kettering as good as I have seen by a Reds player.
I like Greeny as well....maybe not a bad pair Green/McKenzie?
Thoughts?

Mark is a good player and Fitter will get in decent crosses for strikers to get on the end of them.
McKenzie I don't think will score enough goals consistently, I would like to see us get a 30 goal Striker, may have to pay out a bit but that would mean we are at the business end of the table
