Penalty Weymouth.
3-1 Reds.
Byerley 86 mins - same player had been pushed by Halsall.

Re: Weymouth (A) Updates thread
Thank god for that, was expecting your next message to be 3-3 !
Great work from you Fingers, good to see you posting again.
Wish I was there, sounds like a top day out. Should be a few sore heads later !
Have a safe journey back.

Re: Weymouth (A) Updates thread
3-2 flattered Weymouth, by their own admission, no danger of a comeback really, the second goal came too late.
Very professional performance and some very well taken goals.

I echo this, top work mate.
Safe trip back to those lucky enough to make the trip!
Asprin all around for the morning

What a performance, including an overhead kick for the third. So relieved, when the final whistle went. UP THE REDS

Re: Weymouth (A) Updates thread
we were top of our game but got complacent at 3-0, cheap penalty and sloppy goal made it 3-2. we can work on that. we are and always were going in the right direction, those who doubted hyde are fools. now settled we are as good as any in the league, do the math we can still do any position in the league.great attendance from our fans and back to our vocal best.

Re: Weymouth (A) Updates thread
As much as I'd like to agree with you littleworth, Weymouth did have an off day today, and until Deards' opener it was clear to see why neither side had troubled the top half this season.
As long as Reds can replace Deards when he goes, they will be OK, but I just can't see anything more than that this season and top half would surprise me, let alone the play-offs.

Re: Weymouth (A) Updates thread
To brighten up your Sunday morning take a look at the match highlights on the Weymouth fc independent forum youtube thread. Three quality goals and interesting to see our players celebrations after each one, looks to me like evidence of a very good team spirit.

Re: Weymouth (A) Updates thread
From what I am told by the guys going to every game and also to watch 1st team training....Graham is building a pretty tight squad with a great work ethic and a developing game plan.
It is so nice to see the players enjoying the game together....it looks pretty good to me.
Sure...we will have some more rough results and poor performances...but if we can stay in this league, it will be a FANTASTIC achievement by all involved.
To go to Weymouth and get a result in any league, is pretty damn good.
Well done to the players, Graham and all the fans that made the trip.
NB Was that Terrace Guy legging it round the stand for the 3rd goal?
