Without wanting to put the mokers on our current form, anyone keeping
tabs on Graham Hydes record since becoming manager in his own right,
and when was the last time the Reds had such a good run?

Re: Current stats
1. 1st November 2008 - Reds followed up a stunning comeback away to Southport (winning 3-2 after trailing 2-0) with a boring but effective 1-0 win at Stafford Rangers a week later. Sam Foley got the goal.
Reds have won two consecutive aways in different competitions twice since then - Leigh Genesis in the Trophy, followed by a league win at Solihull Moors in November 2009, and surprisingly last season when the 4-1 league win at Hyde was followed by a 2-0 success at Loughborough Dynamo in the FA Cup.
2. The last league double was completed on 18th April 2009 over Hyde.

Thrown together from website results (could be wrong).
Hyde's league record: P 11, W 4, D 1, L 6, F 11, A 13, PTS 13.
Hyde's overall record (competitive games only): P 17, W 6, D 1, L 10, F 15, A 25.

Re: Current stats
It certainly looks better when you consider Hyde lost his first four league games in charge.
Last seven league games: W 4, D 1, L 2, F 9, A 5, 13 PTS.
Four of those seven games have been against the current top eight sides.
Better form than I had realised.

I think you'll find that it's actually 63% of stats that are made up on the spot.

Still pretty average Chance for some momentum tomorrow night? Ah no lets play the kids and undo all the good when we lose on Saturday against er, Banbury
Re: Current stats
Leethal...let it go man.
As seen in the recent statistics, the league form is going pretty well.
Let's not do a 'Travis' and end up with another crock...the club can't afford it.
OK, we are not Premier League, but the risk is always the same....plus, do we want to see the fringe players given a chance?
If we have anymore injuries, Graham may have to ask you and Rowly to get the boots out....or EVEN Porrohman!
Nothing is worth that risk!

Bob, sorry I can't let this go, it is a cancer in football all this bollocks about changing sides for cups. You think I will pay £9 to watch a sub standard side play on a Tuesday and expect me to do likewise on Sat? The club need to get 250 through the gate each game to keep a low playing budget going? Have you seen the attendances recently? On the way south my friend and will continue doing so due to the sort of contempt that the club are showing to senior football games. Rest Travis, rest Hickman, a few yes, def that Warmer ()
Yes a few changes but it is evident a few good results recently but you can hardly say we are setting the world on fire are we? Yes progress but you can make more progress by winning games and doing well in this competition as we are not going to win anything else....
I'll stick to playing at South Redditch thanks, the pitch is a lot better
Porroman even turns up with his boots on Walking the dog though !!

Sorry, Bob, but I have to disagree.
Deliberately putting out a weakened team shows contempt for the paying public and is, in fact, cheating those who pay good money through the turnstiles. (This applies to all levels of football IMO.) This is not the way for the Reds to build up a fan-base!
As a business man you know (and expect) that when you pay full price for a product you expect the goods to be the best available. If they're not then you quickly change your supplier.
I, for one, will not be there tonight.

Re: Current stats
Who has said it will be a weakened Team? same old gossip and showing contempt for Facts. The Team as usual will not be announced till later today, I cant say if it will be a strong Team or a weak Team but threads like this are more damaging to building new Fan base IMO. Regardless of Team or cost the Team still have to be paid in full as do the Bills or do we go back to a club in debt and on the brink?arsene wrote:Bob Marley wrote:Leethal...let it go man.

I think you'll find that a rounding error has been introduced somewhere, and it's actually 62.473% ± 0.732% to the square root of 2 times pi.

You know it will be a weakened team mate, guaranteed. Fans want to watch the 1st team win games when forking out the entrance fee. Yes bills need to be paid so maybe Graham will put out the 1st team?
Unfortunately the cost of games at this time of year will be dictated by fans disposable income, therefore let's see the 1st team put out so value for money is given.

Re: Current stats
I take the point, but I still maintain that risking our key players for a cup no-one is interested in winning is too much of a risk.
I agree, charging full price not to see the 1st team is excessive and not a good idea....but the crowd tonight wouldn't be over 100 even if it was a fiver...especially in the run up to Christmas.
We do sound abit two faced....we want the club to get better players, progress up the league....and yet we say we will not pay the full price when the club is playing?
OK, I understand it may not be the 1st team, but it is our club playing?
I will wire my entry fee to the club.
