Confirmed that Cooper has departed - he has his say and gives reasons here:

I was there on reporting duty and as much as I can understand Cooper's frustration at the awarding of the penalty, which was debatable (both in terms of there being any foul and whether it was inside or outside the box) and was given by the referee only on the advice of his assistant, his reaction was completely unacceptable. He argued with both the referee and the assistant for some time, then when he didn't get his own way, he slammed the ball into the ground right in front of the two officials. For that, he was rightly cautioned.
Once Banbury had taken and scored the penalty, he shoved two Banbury players in an attempt to get the ball back so that the game could be restarted as quickly as possible, and for this he was, I believe, given a straight red, not a second yellow - again, he can have no rational argument with this, his own bias notwithstanding. This was midway through the second half, his team were 3-0 down and being totally outplayed in every department, with the game turning fractious and a number of Leamington players clearly getting frustrated at being beaten by a better side.
Interestingly, no one on the Brakes thread has commented that Jamie Hood, who was adjudged to have fouled the Banbury player to concede the penalty, had already been booked; given that, and the fact that some referees would have seen it as denying an obvious goalscoring opportunity, the Mongs were lucky in some respects that they weren't down to nine.
