Re: REDS 2 BARWELL 0
Who cares about solihull moors... they play at a driving range don't they? Just whacked a few fences up and called it a football club, whatever, not intrested.
The game was good! We battled well, However, before we scored our first, i thought they looked the side that would have taken the lead, they played some very attractive football too!
The Ref was very good! We should try and get him more often?
Hopefully we can get a few wins and a few draws in our next few games and get to midtable by the new year!

Like a different team in the second half and you could see the confidence after our first went in. Also as an aside, what a legendary ref. Not afraid to tell players what he thought and loved the facial gestures to the fans if there was any disagreement with his decisions.
Bring on Weymouth:-)
Yeah that area is great for being close to the match. The standing restriction does make sense if people are sat in the bottom of the stand though. Cheers for clearing that up for me!

Re: REDS 2 BARWELL 0
Sorry, but I don't get why anybody would want to stand / sit immediately behind the bottom goal?! (or indeed behind any goal) The view from there is the poorest in the ground. You probably have <10% of the pitch unobstructed.
As for the game, I though the first half was crap. It was a non event really.
Second half was much better. For the first 10 minutes or so, Barwell looked quite lively. After that, it was pretty much one way traffic. Deabill seems to be getting better with each game, and not just for his recent goals. Deards is going to be a big loss when he goes though.

Re: REDS 2 BARWELL 0
Redditch were poor 1st half v Barwell with Hyde seemingly being scared to play 2 up front. It was a good job that Barwell were poor in the final 3rd in the 1st half otherwise we would have been snookered! What seemed to wake us up was them hitting the bar and then we played fantastically!
