MATCH SHOULD BE OK

Waiting for the thaw...St Albans are travelling up...should be on.

I would be very surprised if the game was called off. Conditions are near perfect .

Just checking as I was up north earlier and it was cold!

What has the groundsman said?

I called the club this morning so I could update you all on here. They had just advised St Albans to set off as they thought by KO time the pitch would be ok. From what I hear both teams would have played on it, but the referee said it was unfit to play on.

Just disappointed as met a mate to bring him to the game and as we arrived in the taxi after having a few beers the game was off! Typical when he was looking forward to it! Comment from a chap leaving, football is a pussy's game if they won't play on that

He is correct and I didn't even need to see the affected part of the pitch

I was gutted too...really looked forward to it. Still...gives another week for Tesfa and Alex to get fit .
