The RUFC mean machine!!

In the cold and sober light of day how many people are genuinely interested (probably to the tune of a £200 investment) in the let's buy a minibus for away games idea?? If we can get 15 that are serious about this I will do some research re insurance etc. I feel sure that 3 grand will cover the purchase and running costs for a season minus fuel of course. I have not factored in the cost of a roof rack for musical instruments or a trailer for the ale!! If enough people express an interest on here I will organise a meeting to discuss actual costs etc. then we can get moving (no pun intended!) I propose that one of us (possibly me) takes out insurance, i will be the registered private owner and we take it in turns to drive to games, in theory no one will have to drive more than twice. We can draw up an agreement on paper about shared ownership. If anyone wanted to drop out they could sell their share on to someone.

This will never happen (we don't have 15 away fans)

If the minibus is not being used for "hire or reward" then I believe a pcv licence isn't required.
