I took my grandson to the game for the first time, and to witness that was truly appalling, and the fact it was staff from the club just beggars belief.

I had left 10 mins before the end as I was so bloody cold and pissed off with the totally inept performance.

Cambridge were minus 2 players who were involved in a car crash enroute to meeting their team bus on the A14 as well!!!

Interesting to hear what happened re. staff fighting each other!!!

I remember the Bedworth incident (the one where the Redditch physio at the time beat a few of their fans up ) and the Southport one, sometimes these things happen!!! But obviously not being there it would be interesting to hear what happened because from what has been said already it would suggest some problems within the club!!!!

Sounds like little if nothing happened with no one saying what it was.

As I understand there was a very physical altercation between 2 people who work for the club, in the directors room and continuing down the stairs. I did not see this incident but was told by one of the stewards who had tried to intervene and calm things down.

Very well said. So far the only fact anyone has correctly stated is 'the incident involved RUFC staff' !! If anyone SAW (not heard about) this horrific ordeal please feel free to write a statement of your account so the appropriate action can be taken against ALL parties involved, anonymous or not I'm sure all statements will be welcome and gratefully received. Yes this was appauling and everyone has the right to voice an opinion but unless FACTS are stated, all this will bring up yet more disagreements. As I said so far only one FACT has been presented!

Not knowing what happened it is sad to hear that some sort of incident has happened and I hope this is resolved and we do not have any further incidents of the like as they are not welcome.

Hey, we still have a club though don't we?....and I can look myself in the mirror and know I did my part.

I'm not having a go at anyone btw, and I know you did your bit Bob and we're all very grateful. It's just like the guts have been ripped from the club, no soul. It's a very strange atmosphere at the moment.

Nail on the head, Ok I was not there but if the level of violence is a fraction of what has been said away from here then I am not suprised no one will speak of it on here as it was so called staff of a so called family club for the community soley involved. No official appology or statement to condone from the club, as i understand it no action or sanctions. understandably this has caused alot of upset, and caused supporters to not want to return to the valley. Just because 4 days after the incident, no comments have been made on here by members of staff involved, doesnt mean disciplinary action is not being taken and no apologies are being made! as i understand, anyone involved in the incident are being dealt with in the appropriate way and apologies are being made to everyone involved and to the club as a whole. I know a lot of people are angry and upset, but these things take time to resolve, especially with the Chair man and Vice Chair Man away from their posts. Times a great healer, and in the very near future im sure ALL members of The Valley will get their much deserved apologies and explanations.
