We are a positive bunch aren't we? Still it proved to be another battering, I think as I've said before, with the squad we have, we are 2 to 3 leagues out of our depth!

Re: Predictions for Hemel Hempstead
Was reading the match report on the HH website and the difference between the 2 clubs can be seen right there.
HH are flying...yes, with a super-high playing budget...but when you navigate their website and see the energy, vibrancy and integration from youth team to supporters club....you can see the gap that is apparent in the league positions.
I am always surprised why the RUFC website is always one of the weak spots at the club...it has been for the last 10 years? With smart phone explosion, I am sure 90% of people rely on information on the website to provide enthusiasm, interest and knowledge of the day to day management of their club...I was on the HH website for 20 minutes reading other match reports, events etc...I haven't been to the RUFC one in months and I am sure I haven't missed anything.
Social media should now be considered the most important forum of communication and not match day programs (that run at a loss?)...this must be addressed to give some energy to the communication that is and always been, a huge problem.

Re: Predictions for Hemel Hempstead
I 100% agree with you on this mate.
I understand that the club doesn't have endless time to always keep on top of things like this but there are club's at a much lower level than the red's with slicker looking websites and more interesting features. As you say, we are currently in an era where peoples lives are dominated by social media and hashtags, and the clubs is very much lacking on this platform.
Whether we could generate extra support from this I am unsure as the apathy in Redditch is horrendous regardless of what is done to try and change it. However, if we could just have a bit more consistency with communication and possibly interesting features such as player interviews, managers thoughts etc online it could get more people reading and taking an interest. Dave posts good updates on here about players signed and that would be good if it was put on the official facebook and Twitter pages. All people need to do is click as they could just stumble across it trawling through their Facebook feed and someones support could start from there, it is the way I starting supporting the Reds after all.
I'd be happy to contribute to this from a far as obviously I am not living in Redditch anymore but if they is anything I could do to give us a hand with social media i'd love to take part in it.

Re: Predictions for Hemel Hempstead
When I can't come to matches, it was always nice to have team news and goal updates during the games. I must say, since this has declined this season I have known less of the team I have been less interested in coming along when I can. Just my two cents..

Re: Predictions for Hemel Hempstead
To be fair, the twitter updates are great.
Justin also updated Facebook when he can which always sparks some debate.
It's just a shame that the club website is a dead duck almost...it would be good to see match reports from the youth section, manager's comments etc.
I have never seen any comments from Liam except through the Advertiser....strange that?
