It is with great regret that the Board of Directors have to announce that the Club has had 3 points deducted from its playing record and been fined £250 due to the fact that Sam Clarke was inadvertently fielded in the side v Redditch on 14thDecember when he should have been serving a one match suspension.

The oversight-unprecedented in the Club’s history was immediately disclosed to the League and Sam was withheld from the next fixture.

The Club’s procedures which have served it so well for decades have been upgraded to ensure there will never be a repetition.

It is important to state that Sam Clarke is entirely blameless in this matter.

We can only apologise to players management and supporters for this most unfortunate oversight.

This is an outrage!!! we wuz robbed by a bunch of pirates!!! Now I dont suppose............. theres any slight chance.........of us getting the 3 points instead!!!! I feel a campaign coming on!!!!!!
