I hope his boss likes a challenge! If I was his adviser coming down on tuesday night I'd have told Swann to run a mile! That's if he even made it into work on wednesday after catching hypothermia

I take your point, TG...but you can get the Reds for what...40k?
Whatever we think, with the right investment, new ground, real business model (marketing etc), competitive team etc...I think you could attract 600-700 per game.
Then it's a different story...I think everyone understands that you do not make money at this level...but as the Plan B business model demonstrated, it can at least be break even and with a few lucky breaks (players on contract moving for a fee, FA Cup etc)...who knows?
If I had Chris's money, I would buy it tomorrow....but I only have my son's inheritance, so I can't!

Bob, it is a fact that buying a football club usually means that you will not see a return on your investment, me and Dennis are none to aware with Everton and this is an interesting blog from Robert Elstone our Chief Executive http://www.evertonfc.com/news/strategy-and-investment
For clubs like Redditch, Stratford, Bromsgrove etc they can be run well and make some money, the thing is a clean slate would be brilliant at RUFC and to set up the many ideas banded on here and run properly.
I hope Swan or AN Other could come in and start a revolution
