Schools Cup Final

The TRUST sponsored Schools Cup final was a tremendous success last night with a large crowd witnessing a close game with Walkwood edging past St Bedes 2-0.Thanks to TRUST member Pete Toolan who organized the whole event, and to all TRUST members for their help last night.Thanks to Redders who presented the man of the match trophy and to Mr Chairman for presenting the trophy.Adie and team for the great food....etc etc.
Great event for the community!!..and a great advert for our club.

Mate they were SHOCKING Its the first Time we have had decent Officials this season both lino's and ref, The decisions were bang on and really helped in giving the kids a decent look at football at a higher level.
All in all a great night and a great Game.

The linos were quality even though that on the PA said one of them had a black flag

I thought the whole evening was superb. Both schools played some lovely football, and played in the right spirit. A big word of thanks goes to Pete Toolan for organising the event, The trust for their support. The (colour-blind p.a) The match officials were by far the best we have had down at the Valley this season, and the lino who ran the line by the main stand was interacting with the supporters, with some clear signals and directions A Really good advert for all concerned.

Did no one know? Linesmen now how black flags!!

Just wanted to thank yourself and everyone involved with the organising of last nights final. I thought that yourself and Redditch Utd as a whole did a great job with last nights event and I know that both Simon and Matt felt the same. Both sets of players enjoyed the evening and felt very privileged to be involved with such a professional event.

You guys at the TRUST should take a bow and a pat on the back for this event.
This has been talked about, forgot, talked about, forgot, talked about for years....Pete Toolan took the action and did it and look at the response! Brilliant!

I applaud you all for this top effort - just what we are all about, Redditch people benefiting and enjoying Redditch United!
