5 point deduction

I guess that in reality, it doesn't really make a difference!

As you said doesnt really make much difference in reality, but any (very) slim chance of survival has gone now surely. Leaves us 20 points adrift with 27 to play for, which I think could see us releagated next Saturday.

Oh well, at least we will still have a club!

Speaking to Sally (Chris's Wife) earlier, and she told me the news. She said the club are going to appeal against the points deduction.
I said that it wouldn't really matter either way as our fate has pretty much been sealed for the past month but I think it's the principality of it all.
They've came in, cleared debts and now this happens! It's a tad harsh on the new directors really.
Ah well it won't matter when we're in League two

It's the first i'd (and many others I would assume!!) heard about it, a 5 point deduction isn't going to make any difference to this season in the grand scale of things, so I wouldn't put too much time, money and effort into appealing it!!!!
As for "old news....move on!" statement, like I said, it's not old news to many of us, so it's only natural that it will be discussed now!!!!
I do agree with "move on" though, lets start building for next season.

only disappointment is that we were going to make a fight of it till the end by bringing 5-6 new players in for today, although not sure now if paying some players to come in is worth it as this decides our fate. As I said to Sally thats the sort of we have been used to but we just pick ourselves up, party and move on(9-0 to boston springs to mind!!) :dance: :dance: :dance: :dance: :dance: :dance:

We can still stay up if we win twice more it'll be more points than we've had all season!

Just to see a league win full stop this season would be great for me. Don't think I've seen us win at all since the Hinckley FACQ 3rd round game!
