Re: Greeny Watch!
He is a quality player, with luck he will playing for us next season. If we are to return to the Blue Square North, then players like Green are what is needed to gain promotion.

Re: Greeny Watch!
personally i think he is overated and he is now playing where he thinks he can be a big fish in a small pond.i always thought that it was always better to play at the highest standard possible but he as gone the other way just for a few pounds.i think the players we have now are proving that you dont have to be paid to put in your best effort.

Re: Greeny Watch!
Personally I'd rather not entertain the idea of bringing back old players and especially one's who were out of their depth in the Conf North.
We have spent the entire season at the foot of the table and any number of players seem to have caught the eye whilst we have been losing virtually every match.
I ceratinly don't think we should go with the 'best of a bad bunch' mentality. Lets build a proper team from next year no constant changes will be a good platform.

+1 , he's a tit anyway
Re: Greeny Watch!
I'd have Matt Smith back, second highest goal scorer in the league, got us our first point against Telford and also scored a Hat-trick against Hyde!
He'll just need someone else closer to him up front, which never happened under Matt Gardiner!!

Liked Cornes when he was with us, Great brain, good vision, and make a pass.

Re: Greeny Watch!
Highlights the fact that they weren't good enough it this level, and lower leagues is where they come good.
25? we get more at a fans game

Re: Greeny Watch!
I agree that Green is over rated and no where near in the same class as Dance, Blair, Beswick, Edwards, Storey and even Hollis who have played out wide in recent times. Chris Cornes, do me a favour?! Matt Smith is a class act and someone from the Confence Prem will take a punt on him in the summer. I haven't been to a game since the budget cuts, but from the first half of the season I would probably only consider Timmins, AJ and potentially Warmer as options for next season.

Re: Greeny Watch!
I would say that if Green played in the team that those lot you stated played in he would be as good. Hollis was over rated, Story was a headless chicken (Heggs son?). Dance and Blair were class and beswick was talented but he is turning into a Fat Fook playing for Solihoof Bores
Cornes is sh*t full stop and if he does not stop eating he will explode!

Re: Greeny Watch!
Sorry to say this, but, this is a player who is more interested in recreational activities than football, so good riddance to him.

May well be the reason all the 'big' clubs he had pleasure telling everyone that could be arsed to listen were after him never made the move and he's now wasting his time in a tinpot league.
