Manager Appointment Due When?
Well we are still waiting for a new manager, the merry go round of players leaving clubs and signing for others is well and truely under way so come on Swanny lets get this sorted so we don't miss out on players signing for the likes of Stourport, Studley, Alvechurch and Bromsgrove Sporting!
I left out Stratford as the apparent budget there is £1.5k a week !!

Re: Manager Appointment Due When?
Just so everyone knows(and to show swan has his finger out)interviews are taking place this Sunday, there seems to be a healthy bunch applying for the position but I do not know the full list.

Re: Manager Appointment Due When?
Chris is in America so there isn't a great deal he can do at the moment, it'll be announced next week
Re: Manager Appointment Due When?
Even though Chris has been in America the finger is very much on the pulse, Players are being looked at so the intention is not to miss out on any players during silly season. Guys having spent a lot of time at the valley doing essential jobs I can assure you that a lot of business has been taking place, good business practice means you don't show all your cards and release every thing until its concrete and that's what's happening.maybe a update on here from Fenners maybe every couple of weeks may help the right info filter out, but every thing that should be happening is happening. Work with the local community and the local schools was also evident this week with a Graham Hyde Training session at the valley for Trinity High, how great is that, last year he was doing the same thing for Birmingham city and the Kids loved it.

Odds on it appears Martin Sockett is to be appointed tomorrow. IMO this will be a mistake and not the manager I feel can take us forward. Would have liked to see a local manager to who knows this area rather than North Warwickshire

Re: Manager Appointment Due When?
I know it doesn't seem ideal but it worked with Weston-Super-Mare.
They were a club struggling for years in the Conference South until start of last season they took their manager from Bridgewater town (2 leagues below like this fella we will probably get) who won their league and he took all of his players with him and they have finished a credible mid table in the Conference South with players that shouldn't technically be at that level.
If this new manager could bring in players with the budget we have who just want to play and be successful with that winning mentality then I think we can do well. But I would like to see what this new managers plans are first before making any judgement.
