I've just been on reddit.com/r/redditch ... remember them?

And i saw a comment saying " is there anywhere online where we can watch these games live. I'm sorry, I watched some replays and high-lights last year, but if I can't watch it live I'm out."

Now personally i don't like the selfish nature of that post, But how good would it be to stream live Redditch United games all over the world via a website?!

Obviusly if the cost of live streaming is too much then the loss of support from 1 redditor isn't worth sweating over...
But for the fans that can't always make games it'd be the next best thing.

Or maybe it's just Redditors wanting too much?

On a technical level it wouldnt be heard to do. There are mediums for doing it quite easily for very little cost such as ustream.tv, veetle etc.

Even an audio commentary streamed online would be a brilliant addition.

The biggest issue I imagine would be rights related, would the league be willing to let you do it?

Is there a way of recording the game for highlights as well as streaming live?
First of all we need a camera man/woman

The Blue Square didn't mind us filming the games...

We could do with someone to film the home and away games regularly... maybe someone from new college if they do media courses there?

And a running commentary would be good, possibly a neutral person? Most clubs have fans that volunteer to do theirs, Boston, Telford etc, so for a fair view of the game maybe a neutral?

Definately worth looking into!
