Not seen anything on this, I would be quite suprised if this is true but not doubting it!
Re: evesham sack their manager
Sorry Lee... I asked for your opinions on this on another thread before seeing this one.
Tis true though. Speaking to a EUFC Director today it was a resignation accepted rather than a sacking, but we all know the bull sh*t that goes on surrounding anything like this so who knows!
I know Vaughan the keeper they sacked not long ago, is now at RCW on £80 a game!

! Indeed mate, Westy did have a few weeks off last season but continued and I would not be surprised he has walked as he is a winner and they have not been doing well recently.
Vaughan is a top keeper but is as mad as a hatter! He must be near on non controllable as a manager as he gets himself sent off time after time! Who is bankrolling RCW? They were class when hammering Stratford a few weeks ago so add him to the team and they must be paying out a few quid with Lee Knight in charge!

I guess Vaughan must have been cup-tied, as he wasn't in the squad for their Vase game yesterday?

unless he played for someone else in the vase he wouldn't be cup tied.

I think (from someone I used to work with who was the secretary at Alvechurch) that it's a bit more complicated than that; I seem to recall him saying that you couldn't play in FA Vase or County intermediate competitions if you'd played in a senior (i.e. FA Trophy or County Senior Cup) tie in the same season.
But I'm happy to be corrected if anyone knows for definite.

Re: evesham sack their manager
I'm pretty sure that's wrong Ted, I recall it being like that in the past, but not any more.
Mark Bellingham was dual registered with Leamington and Causeway United the other season, purely to represent Causeway in the Vase when they had ties on a Sunday (which they often did when at home seeing as they share at Stourbridge).
Nathan Vaughan has now signed for Romulus.

Re: evesham sack their manager
It seems he does the rounds where the money is... Brackley, Leamington, Stratford, Evesham...
If he's scoring he's definately worth the money.
He doesn't seem the type of player that would stay when the times got tough.

He played for Cov then when released played for Leamington his home town club for a number of seasons scoring goals. He then went to Brackley and was probably on a decent whack but then moved up a level to Corby where he scored quite a few goals before having his leg broken quite badly. Went back to Leam at the end of last season to get fit and started there this season but hardly played. Went to Stratford probably because Morton Titterton & Jason Cadden are the management team from when he was at Leamington and played regular and has obviously proved his worth as he has moved back into the Southern Prem and scored 2 in 3 for Evesham. Definately worth the money IMO as he is a goalscorer and we do not have one.

but before being able to afford him, youve got to know of him or be aware of him!
Leethall should be on the Reds books in some scouting capacity

They know about him Rowly. I can assure you of that. It's a big wide world out there. Do you think they live in a bubble?

Me and you Rowly could quite easily russle up a few top signings for this level or a few rough diamonds from the lower levels of the Pyramid.
If I was messers Swan & Hyde would invite Paul West for a chat to see if he would be interested in joining the club in the capacity of 1st Team coach. Would bring so much knowledge and contacts for the club as he has worked at this level for years and would aid Mr Hyde in his 1st mangerial job. Look how Micky Brennan helped Westy at Evesham.
Need to start my coaching badges now!
Re: evesham sack their manager
Nothing to stop you speaking to Chris about it, doesn't sound like a bad idea atall to me, two guys that clearly know the local players and infrastructure!
I'm more up for that happening than playing bloody football games on a friday night
