Using the Valley in the summer.
We are starting to come towards the end of the season & the summer months will be with us. Well no doubt their will be some pre-season friendlies, but, wouldn't it be great to use the stadium for another event & I don't just mean the bar. Recently boxing events have been attended well in the Redditch area. Imagine an open air boxing night or live bands playing on the allotment end. Not only will it create money, but, might just get more people in the town interested in the football club.

Re: Using the Valley in the summer.
Back in the Cremin days, they had strippers on in the bar, had a really good night there the once.
The look on my mates face when his cousin came out and started taking her clothes off was a classic, only bettered by the look on her face when she spotted him sat there in shock
When we were kids, me and my mate used to talk about what it would be like if Saxon played at The Valley, a bloody nightmare no doubt

Re: Using the Valley in the summer.
Haha look at you lot we are starting with maybe two a month with one for youth only and alcohol free and the other is the Valley Rock Night and the clue is in the name!!! If and when this builds up you guy's can have all the bands you want but for now its a case of building it up from scratch, I have two bands in mind for the first night and which ever gives me the best deal will probably be the band that plays it. I cant say who they are but one does covers of led zep, fleetwood mac and ac dc etc. and the other is a glam rock covers band. both are at the quality I want and both tie in with resurrecting the legendary Valley Rock Night.

Re: Using the Valley in the summer.
Make that three bands, listened to your comments guy's. I have contacted a band I have worked with before that has the quality but covers right across the board from beatles, rock, madness ,kaiser chiefs and many more styles, but as i said it needs to have the quality but also be sustainable.
