has the administation changed the forum to force people to log in to read general points? I thought we had an open forum or is this another sign that the forum is owned by the club?

You do now have to log in to read the general section. I'm not sure why though, you'll have to ask Redditchbluenose that.

However, I don't see how this suggests a move towards this forum being owned by the club? Users still had to sign up to post comments before, so it is still as open as it was. Also the previous forum also used the same kind of policy.

As a positive it has lead to an increase in the amount of people signing up to the forum, which can only be a good thing.

This was done due to recent events that are being discussed by everyone can be misinterpreted by media sources when digging round for dirt on the club.

It's only a temp measure until things boil over.

If you're already a member, then there's no problem is there?

Not a huge problem-granted,but i remember when this forum was created the feeling was to keep it 'open' for various reasons.

As the forum is "unofficial" I cant see how the weekends events should alter the forum owners standpoint...unless guided?

The incident occured why try to hide the information available? or is this a sales ploy to boost numbers?

Well i think its obviously changed so just anybody cant have a look at whats been said, due 2 what happened at the wkend. The chairmain must see reason to want to have control of all talks about rufc an that incident. But why is that youve got to ask yourself ?????

What a load of crap,have i misunderstood the meaning of open and transparent,if the press want dirt or anything else good or bad they will find,reguardless of whether you have to log in or not.LOG IN NO THANKYOU,just means we have something to hide.Dennis
