Re: Favourite reds player
I did indeed mean Danny's 1st spell at Kiddy when he got his 1st 2 year pro deal. I had him at the Black Horse at the time and pushed him that way with the inside help of Brenzo much to Podgys annoyance at the time as he was running Studley then.
For me the best keeper and worthy of the. Umber 1 shirt In an all time 11

Good keeper Danny and has done well. Remember him at 15(?) playing for the Black! Pity he did his ACL this year as he is in his prime, has also got better as he has got older.

The whole of the Rod Brown's promotion winning side will always be legends to me. Great team and great bunch of lads who had time for the supporters. Back then everyone felt part of the Club and it's success. Say what you like about Rod Brown but he helped to encourage that. Happy times..
However my vote would have to go to that goal machine that was Lee Booth. For those who don't remember him here's a link.

I was there that night and remember being on the players coach as it arrived 10 mins before kick off. Players had to get changed on the coach and go straight onto the pitch.

Absolutely cracking report, remember the game well. Shame they jinxed us for the Arnold match - turned over 1-0 at home with a late goal from a corner. Banker my arse.

I too remember that game. I seem to remember we sang most of the way home in the car! It's great when you win that late!!!
I also remember the Arnold game. It's lousy when you lose a game that late!!!! (But there again we've always had difficulties with crosses to the far post!!)
