Reds 0 Small town in Cheltenham 1
Could have gone either way, we need to take our chances.Good numbers from Gloucester....liked their goalie...a fat Ross Kemp but made some good saves...and was up for a bit of banter.
Ref was all game...should have sent their full back off and gave the pen which didn't look like one from where I was...We could have won it...same as Stafford....their number 4 was a someone said Josh gave him a at the end, if he did he deserved it the

Feel cheated today. Ref was a never ever a penaltly. Their forward was looking towards the ref as he "fell". They should have had a player sent off. ( IMO as a ref I would have sent him off) very impressed agin today by the effort and commitment of the players. we played football that belied our league position, and with luck we could have/ should have won the game. Fat ross kemp kept them in the game with some fine saves. Good to see Tommy on the bench.

It was a shame to see 87 minutes of hard graft go on a silly, weak penalty decision!
Bad refs get sent down to our level, and boy, it shows!
The ref on tuesday night even admitted he didn't want to ref... but i bet he snatched his wages without a second thought!
We're down guys, lets to down with dignity and pride!

Great performance yesterday and we deserved to win but we are lacking a striker. The lad who played 9 yesterday was awful!
The passage of play at the end of the 1st half was crucial and the 4 chances we had required us netting twice.
The ref was poor but he was never going to send the guy off just before half time as it was way out on the left and somebody would cover. It was also a clear penalty I am afraid, Hull's challenge was poor and the ref had no option. From where I was stood you could see him take out the Glarsta player....
Great performance again, the football is head and shoulders above that we had under Gards and we just need a few players to put the ball in the net as we seem to be pretty solid now.
Was great to see Tommy Warmer warming up at half time, be great to see him back

Must say it was nice to hear a decent PA announcer of the teams yesterday. Clear, precise..and a great face for radio/PA.

Even if we are still losing at least we are competing these days and we know for definite that every player playing for us is there because they want to be there! From what it sounds we just need a decent finisher but to be honest apart from Matt Smith we haven't really has a decent finisher anyway But anyway least the games sound enjoyable and good football is being played, even if we are losing looking forward to getting back down the valley at Easter! Up the Reds!

A decent striker is what is needed. We have pace on either wing.Defensively we are looking better each game. In midfield we do lack a little bite, but with Tommy Warmer back, (and how we have missed him) we could have a useful team.

Re: Reds 0 Small town in Cheltenham 1
We should have got a penalty when our player was felled in the box, imo it was no different to there penalty so if you give to one you have to give to the other. I don't think it should have been a Red as the rule has to include denying a goal scoring opportunity so although he was last man there is no way on his own he would have scored all the way on the left flank, definitely yellow I think.Should have been a draw I think, but another great atmosphere at the valley. On another note Ken Rae has given me the green light to take copies of everything left in the club house which includes many Team Photo's from 1918 - 2004 ish' , certificates and press cuttings for the Archive, I will collect on Monday as there are no games for a week and half or so I can get them done and back so the Board room remains looking tidy for match day guests. I am also In talks with the club regarding getting ALL Photos to be signed over to TRUST ownership rather than the club so we know they will be safe from sale/bailiffs for future generations to enjoy, Long term if anything happens to the club we can always then donate them to the Museum. I am also having the frame on the 1913 picture repaired before it goes up in the shop as any damp will destroy it.
