First Team versus Reserves

Redditch United v Redditch United Reserves 2pm Kick Off

Tomorrow will be the fans first chance to see the First Team and The Reserves in action.

The ground will be open from 12:00 o'clock where the bar will be serving a selection of beer, wines and spirits.

If your not busy tomorrow then pop down to The Valley. Have a beer, catch some sun and enjoy an entertaining afternoon of football.

Any info on who will be playing for the first team today?

As far as I'm aware all players will be involved. Edwin is good to look at. A strong players as well as Harry Austin and Charlie. Please don't quote me on this as things may change but I will defianntely be seeing a lot of faces I won't recognise.

Game is on the back pitch. I don't want to mislead people into thinking its on the main pitch. That's not ready until the Gosport game.

Have all players that Liam announced, except Will, stayed then?

So far Brad Catlow, Jermaine Hylton, Mark Hands and Leavi Oshungbure have stayed at the club. The rest if the squad will be made up of new players that Liam has bought in

Did anybody attend the game? What was the score and who played for the 1st team?

It was a good game I think it finished 2-2, but I may of missed some of the action as they played 3 x 30mins and I had things in the club to do.
Both the Firsts and the Reserves look much stronger than last year, which is really encouraging.

Yeah it was Dave. Finished 2-2. Very encouraging on a Reserves team point of view to hear you say you think we are stronger than last year. People will judge us on trying to win the league and cup again not realising that my main job and focus is to get players to be able to play at first team level. Always a difficult job to achieve this and As Simon Redhead said last year "to get 1 playing first team football is an achievement".

Fingers crossed I can nurse a few into the first team and by doing so if we also pick up a few points in the league then il be happy!!
